Department Overview
The Planning Department provides demographic and geographical information to the Board of Education, Superintendents, staff, and parents. This information would include the District Maps and Find Your School application provided on the CCS Website.
The Planning Staff works closely with the Cumberland County Planning Department, the City of Fayetteville Planning Department, North Carolina Department of Transportation, Fort Bragg Planning, FAMPO, Town of Hope Mills, Town of Spring Lake, and other agencies to coordinate planning efforts with the Board of Education.
