Inclement Weather Announcement
Published by Melissa McNeill on February 20, 2020
.....................................................................................................................................................................................

In anticipation of inclement weather conditions, Cumberland County Schools (CCS) will dismiss two hours early on Thursday, Feb. 20. All after-school activities and evening events are cancelled. Prime Time will operate for two hours after the dismissal of students. CCS’ inclement weather plan focuses on the safety of students and staff. District leaders want to ensure school buses are off the roads before conditions deteriorate.

On Friday, Feb. 21, CCS will operate on a two-hour delay. There will be no morning Prime Time; however, school breakfast will be available for students.

District officials will continue to monitor weather conditions and share updates as necessary. Families may visit the district’s website and social media pages to receive updates regarding delays and school closings.
